PM Vishwakarma Yojana launch :

PM Vishwakarma Scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September 2023, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka.

Objectives :

To enable recognition, provide skill upgradation, support for better tools, easy access to credit, incentives for digital transactions, and a platform for brand promotion and market linkages.

Benefits :

Financial assistance, skill development, tool procurement, market support, and incentive for digital transactions.

Eligibility :

Indian citizens engaged in traditional arts and crafts for at least 6 months with annual income less than Rs. 10 lakh and not availed of any other government loan for the same purpose.

Online through the portal of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)
